A Bit About Me
Hi! I'm Ian Zachary, a multi-passionate entrepreneur and creative based in Cypress, CA, where I’ve lived for 17 years. Over that time, I’ve come to love this community and enjoy giving back through my work and various ventures.

I’m the co-founder of Chore Champions, a family-owned business that helps people simplify their lives with premium house and office cleaning services. What started as a local cleaning service has evolved, and we're now expanding our offerings to include dog walking, pet checking, house sitting, babysitting, and even holiday decorating. My goal is to create a one-stop service hub for the Cypress community and surrounding areas.

In addition to running Chore Champions, I work as a Facility Operations worker for the City of Cypress. Through this role, I support my local community by ensuring the smooth operation of city facilities. I also have a separate career in video editing and photography, where I use my creativity to tell stories and capture meaningful moments. Whether behind the camera or at the editing desk, I enjoy every aspect of bringing ideas to life through media.

When I’m not working, you’ll often find me on the ice, as figure skating is another passion of mine. Balancing my time between skating, work, and school keeps me energized and always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow.

Having lived in Cypress for nearly two decades, I’m deeply connected to the area and take pride in contributing to its vibrant community. Every day brings a new adventure, and I’m excited to keep learning, growing, and building meaningful connections along the way.
Work Experience
Facility Operations for the City of Cypress

1. Maintain City Facilities
We keep city buildings like community centers, city halls, and public spaces clean, safe, and in good working order. This includes regular cleaning, minor repairs, and maintenance.

2. Set Up for Daily Events
Every day, we prepare city facilities for a variety of events, from small community meetings to recreational activities. We make sure each event is properly set up with the necessary equipment, seating arrangements, and any additional items required.

3. Set Up for Large Events
When it comes to larger city-wide events, like festivals or public celebrations, we handle extensive set-ups, from stages and sound systems to organizing the flow of foot traffic. We ensure these events run smoothly and safely.

4. Monitor Parks and Public Spaces
We also keep an eye on city parks and public areas to ensure they’re safe, clean, and enjoyable for the community. This includes checking for safety hazards and addressing maintenance issues as they arise.
​
5. Manage Permits
We assist with the processing and management of permits for various activities, events, and facility usage within the city. This ensures that events and programs are held in compliance with city regulations.

6. Support the Community
Our work helps create a positive experience for residents and visitors who use city services or attend events. We ensure that everything is well-prepared and maintained, contributing to the overall quality of life in Cypress.
